The Problem with CNN's MAGA Mouth, Bott Jennings

Updated: Aug 16

The CNN brand is really suffering.

My goodness.

They gave this guy Scott Jennings (Bot Jennings) a huge pay raise to be the voice of MAGA on their air, every day ...

The first problem is that he comes in to work committed to playing that ROLE. Like an actor. Scott does the proud Trump spokesman performance, every day on a National Journalism platform. He Tweets with the same conviction to this brand identity, no matter what Trump says or does ...

- When Trump supports Genocide and mass civilian murder.

- When Trump uses government to filter /control history narratives.

- When Trump tweets racist divisive comments.

- When Trump lies about tariffs.

- When Trump hides his Epstein connects.

- When Trump sends the military into US cities, etc ...

Scott calmly normalizes all of these things, not because its True, or Correct, or comes from a thoughtful genuine place ... but because of Scott's job - as MAGA drama content creator.

Scott Jennings, wait ... Hannity. No, maybe this is Jesse Watters

When people tune in to CNN, they expect to watch informed adults using the best and most accurate language to talk about reality. The decision makers at CNN are paying a ton of money for a very milquetoast guy, who has ALREADY been replaced by ChatGPT. What Scott does is not an exercise in Truth finding. It does not represent Thinking, or Quality Discourse. We know that Elon Musk can tweak his Grok AI into fascist compliance quite easily.

Scott Jennings is a bot, literally.

Journalism, either in print or other media, is a process of articulating Genuine thought, observations of reality, encouraging open discourse, rooted in Humane bedrock principles.

Professional Journalists are engaged in an effort to articulate Truth.

They use the best language to create an accurate map of Reality.

That is not what Scott Jennings does.
