What Happened to Tucker Carlson?

I made a cartoon about Tucker Carlson several years ago (2022), back when he was the most watched news anchor in America, working in the propaganda company called "Fox news". I made fun of him for creating nonsense rage-bait, daily divisive content and distorting reality; the kind of content that Fox News is known for.
In recent months, since being fired by that company, Tucker has taken a very clear and public turn. Tucker seems to have evolved into something like an actual journalist.
I don't use that word, "Journalist", lightly.
The word "Journalist" can sometimes point to a career path - but more importantly, Journalist is a vaunted social title, with a unique role in healthy societies.
Journalists are Truthtellers. While anyone can create content for attention, the journalist grapples with our shared experience and uses accurate language to describe the events, and "forces" - similar to physics - at play in our Reality. A JOURNALIST is someone who perceives the Real World with active intention, then genuinely attempts to share their perceptions with others.
The Evolution of Tucker
These days, Tucker Carlson can be found on Youtube interviewing disaffected Republican leaders, detailing the overreach of the Intelligence apparatus, and boldly challenging DC beltway assumptions on Foreign Policy.
Tucker knows a Genocide when he sees one, in Gaza. Or at the very least he's smart enough to concede when the Israeli Human Rights Org B'tSelem sees one. Or when Amnesty International sees one. Or when the International Association of Genocide Scholars sees one. Or when the Lemkin Insitute for Genocide Prevention sees one.
Tucker now understands and admits that he spent most of his professional career being "part of the problem" at FOX News. I wish he would expound on this. There should be an entire series of videos and written works from Tucker devoted to this concept, and explaining how the country's most "successful" and visible journalists might be parts of the problem. Give us the juicy details so that people can live safe, sensible and free lives. That's your job.
We should all appreciate Tucker's present willingness to expose manipulative liars - like Ben Shapiro - who poison our political discourse, monetizing social strife domestically, while working for Israel first.
Predictably, Tucker has received backlash for his growth as a Journalist, and capacity for Truthtelling. He's been attacked as someone with irrational hatreds, along side children's advocate Ms. Rachel ("Antisemite of the Year") which is just manipulative nonsense. I'm almost inclined to believe that Tucker Carlson is serious about his new level of awareness.

The Way Forward
As the former face of FOX News - with a 14 year tenure at the company - Tucker's best contribution going forward will be to educate the millions of young American Journalists, currently using social media to share their genuine experience and share their insights.
If Tucker is serious about redeeming Journalism - if he values the idea of a "free press" as enshrined in the US Constitution - then he can use his immense clout and knowledge about Corporate propaganda to educate a generation of young adults on:
How to spot fake, compromised News, and avoid it.
How to ground themselves in truth seeking, to create quality News.
Tucker can share firsthand knowledge about the machinations of corporate Journalism - the narrative and linguistic tricks, the profit schemes and trade secrets, still currently being used by his former employer FOX News. Tucker understands the psychology, the politics and the identity demographics being employed to keep Americans at each other's throats.
We need clarity & relief from the relentless barrage of corporate news propaganda, and we need it immediately.
How is it that droves of Americans can be made to assume the worst, untrue things about an innocent woman that was shot on the streets by ICE in Minnesota? How can Americans look at the same tragic videos - yet so many have a sense of certainty and glee about the "justified" nature of Renee Good's murder? How and why are FOX anchors all so uniform in their distortions; misinforming and radicalizing their audience?
Young people are naturally turning away from the teleprompted, profit-driven and deep-pocketed News studios. They are instead turning towards each other, from genuine need, as both the recipients and creators of News content.
Social media sharing is a valid form of journalism and when used at its best potential, millions of people can share genuine insights, rooted in their best, common values.
We certainly need a courageous effort to equip our citizens and young people with the skills of Media Literacy, Discernment and higher Awareness.
A profound desire for Truth, rather than just content.
